Jumi awarenessing – basic method

Jumi (judo mind) awarenessing exercises promote the embodiment of open awareness.

The basic method shown in this video is useful to alleviate the symptoms of excessive screen time (tunnel awareness) through regaining ‘elasticity’ in your consciousness and reopening the ‘aperture’ of your awareness.

Practicing jumi helps you to establish a calm, clear and connected state.

All jumi exercises involve cyclical breathing – inhaling through the nose for all closing movements and exhaling slowly from the mouth for all opening movements. There is no holding of breath or posture, rather a constant flow of movements lead by cyclical breathing – embodying the natural rhythm of life.
